Daily Routine
My name is XXXXXXXX. I always get up at 6:40 in the morning, make my bed and search my closet for clothes right after. Then I go to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. After I clean myself, I go to the living room and eat breakfast. After finishing breakfast, I stand by the window to brush my hair, then put on my shoes, getting ready to leave home.
I take an elevator to the first floor and take the bus to school. At school, the first thing I do is to write in my communication book, then attend my morning classes, which are English, Chinese, and art. At noon, I have school lunch. The lunch is always tasty. We take a nap until 1:10 pm. There are three more classes in the afternoon. I like recesses between classes, when I can play with my friends. School ends at 4:00pm.
After the dismissal bell rings, I line up in the hallway, take a car to XXXXXXXX Academy, and begin writing my homework. After I am done, I go to the library to read a book, and at 7 P.M. my teacher allows me to go back home, then my dad takes me home. Afterwards I take the elevator to the eighth floor. Sometimes, I see my neighbor in the hallway and I will say hello to them. After I go into my home, I take off my shoes, walk into the kitchen, take carrots out of the refrigerator and put them into the microwave. While waiting for the carrots, I watch a bit of television. When the carrots are done, I eat them, take a shower, brush my teeth, and then go to sleep. It is a wonderful day.
Daily Routine
I get up at 6:30am because of my alarm clock, but then I switch it off and go back to sleep until 7:00am when my mom wakes me up. I go to the bathroom, wash my face and brush my teeth. I change my clothes at 7:15am. I go to the breakfast room and take the milk out of the refrigerator and read a book while having my breakfast. After breakfast, I wear my jacket and shoes, then I take an elevator down to B2 at 7:40am. Sometimes, I see my neighbor in the elevator and we chat for a while. Then, mom drives me to school.
After arriving at school, I start reading in the classroom until my teacher tells us to clean the bathroom, which my friends and I hate to do. When that’s done, my friends and I go back to the classroom before the class starts. I start to write down the messages onto my communication book. My favorite classes are art, English and science, because they are fun. My best friends are XXXXX, XXXXX and XXXXX, I play with them for 2 years. I don’t like PE nor Chinese classes, because PE makes me tired, and Chinese class is boring. Then we have lunch at noon, for lunch its usually carrots and pork, they taste fine. After lunch, students will take a 30-minute nap. In the afternoon, I play tag with my friends during the recess.
When the school day ends, I go to the English class at my cram school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Be the time the English classes end, it will be 6:00pm when my mom will pick me up. After getting back home, I finish my homework before eating dinner. Mom always asks me “how’s my day?” and I always answer “today I am happy.” After dinner, I put away my dishes into the sink, watch Youtube before taking a shower. After shower, I will read a book before going to bed.
Show and Tell
I will talk about my kangaroo doll. My mom’s friend wen to Australia six years ago. When she came back, she brought me a birthday gift, a kangaroo doll. It is about the size of my school backpack and is very cute. It is new, and I love it a lot, because it is my first ever birthday gift.
The kangaroo doll’s eyes are very big, which I think is very cute. But it doesn’t look like a kangaroo, it looks more like a bear. The doll is of a mother kangaroo, and there is a baby in its front pouch. The baby is very small, and is a little ripped, but I love it nevertheless. I hug it when I go to sleep because it makes me feel secure and allows me to fall asleep easier.
One of my cousins, who is very selfish, really likes the doll. One day the doll disappeared, which made me nervous. I looked for it all over the house, but I wasn’t able to find it. A few hours later, my selfish cousin finally admitted that she had stolen my doll. She said she was very sorry and wanted to be honest, but I was still very upset. Afterwards, I kept the doll stored away in a chest for safe keeping for many years. I take it out every one in a while, but there’s a lot of dust on it.
Now it looks very old and dirty. When my cousin saw it recently, she still really liked it, and said she wanted it a lot. I didn’t need the kangaroo anymore, so I gave it to her. She is happy and I’m happy too.
Dear dad,
I write this letter to you since I want to tell you thank you. The breakfast you make for family every weekend they are delicious. You make green onion egg pancake, but my favorite dish is egg pancake. I like egg pancakes because they are crispy, moist and different variety of flavors. You always put egg pancake in the dish or paper bags to make it easier for me to eat.
The thing I remember the most is when we rode the bike from Linkou to Tao-yuan. This is the bonding time between my dad and I. On a Sunday morning, we decided to rode a bike. I remember the weather is warm and windy, and the temperature is about 25 degrees. Its all down hills and we saw lots of trees on the way to Tao-yuan. This is our first time to take this route, so we are not familiar with it. However, I am not scare because my dad route route me. The round trip is about 40 km. Even though I think it is very long and tough route but we made it after all. I feel proud of us.
My dad does most of our chores. He cleans the toilets, doing the laundry, sweep and mop the floor. You even take out the trash every day.
No matter what the situation is, no matter how wrong or right I am, I thank you for always having my back. Thank you for fixing lots of things for me. Thank you fr every thing and being my dad. Dad, please stay at my side forever.
Dear President Trump,
My name is XXXXXX XXXXXX. I live in Taiwan, and I’m a 12 years old girl. I would like to share some thoughts with you, since I think you are a honest gentleman.
Media are all saying how often you despise women in public, but I still have faith in you. Can you imagine how angry you will be when somebody calls you a ugly and fat guy. To be honest, this is exactly how women feel when they are insulted. So just please don’t do that again, even you think you mean no harm. Because I can guarantee you will regret it.
I know it is really really difficult and annoying that you, as a president, must be so open minded to accept everyone's criticism. However I know that you are only on the media behave of your own private look. But these words are backfires, they will not only hurt others but also affect the public perception of yours.
